Step by step
Ordering article backlinks, from filter to live link
This is the order flow told as a log, not as a feature list. Read it once and you know where each decision sits.
The order, in six entries
- 1
Open the marketplace and set filters
Filter donors by Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price. Fifty thousand rows is too many, so narrow it to a few dozen.
- 2
Open two or three rows in detail
Check what the donor actually publishes. A row can look strong on Moz or Ahrefs numbers and still cover topics unrelated to yours.
- 3
Add to the basket
No charge yet. The basket is a draft you can empty. It holds the donor, the target URL and the content mode.
- 4
Choose the content mode
Automatic needs a target URL and a keyword. Prompt mode takes your instructions. Your own article mode takes a finished text with one link.
- 5
Review and pay
The balance is topped up in the dashboard, not via API. Invoices and proforma invoices are available if your accountant asks.
- 6
Watch ordered links
Each placement appears with a status. Usually it goes live within about 24 hours, and then it is permanent dofollow.
The three content modes side by side
| Mode | You supply | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Automatic | Target URL and keyword | Testing a donor quickly | The article is AI-written, so read it after it is live |
| Your prompt | Instructions on angle and tone | Brand-sensitive pages | Vague prompts give vague text |
| Your own article | A finished piece with one link | Legal, medical and financial topics | You carry the editing work |
What we would check on the first day
People who want to buy article backlinks often skip this stage, and the skipping is where most regrets start. A ten-minute inspection costs nothing.
Open the live URL. Confirm the link is where you asked, the anchor reads naturally, and the page is reachable without a login.
Then wait. A new link is not a switch, and Google needs to crawl the donor and your page again, which can take days or weeks depending on how often the donor is visited. Note the date in a sheet, and compare against Search Console after a month rather than a day.
If you buy through the API or let an agent in ChatGPT or Claude fill the basket over MCP, the human step is still payment. That separation is deliberate.
Finally, set a calendar reminder for eight weeks later. Memory is a poor archive.
When the order goes wrong
Occasionally a placement is late or the anchor differs from what you asked. Raise it through your account page with the order reference.
Most problems are small, such as a target URL with a typo or a page that redirects, so check the basket carefully before paying. The terms explain what we will fix.
Keep one habit from the days of article directories: a log. Date, donor, price, target page, anchor. A year later it is the only evidence you will have of what you tried.
Our advice
Order three, not thirty
The first purchase is a test of the donor and of your page, not a campaign. Three rows at different prices tell you more than a bulk order, and you can read the price ranges before choosing them. Short of budget? One row is still a valid test.
- Spend at most a small share of your monthly marketing budget
- Mix one cheap, one middle and one strong row
- Review again after eight weeks
